Cloud Engineer - TS/SCI Required Information Technology
Fort Liberty, NC
Job Description
Cloud Engineer needed for a multi-year contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Ft. Liberty, North Carolina.
Active Top Secret/SCI is required!
Work with a team of diverse architects and engineers with backgrounds in PaaS, DevOps, Security, and IaaS operations in order to spread knowledge and practices. All in support of the our client's global cloud and platform services environments.
Responsible for the engineering and life-cycle management of, mostly cloud-based, platforms to attain a high degree of reliability and security.
Qualifications:
* 3-5+ years relevant experience
* Working knowledge of scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python, JavaScript)
* Relevant experience in developing and deploying cloud and platform automation
* 2+ years of experience working with container orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
* 1+ years' experience working with Gitlab.
* DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred)
Preferred qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
* Experience in multiple public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Experience working with identity and access management technologies and solutions.
* Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, specifically Splunk.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies; using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
