Leads the supply planning of our Vinyl Siding network - optimizing our customer service, inventory working capital, and operational costs. Responsible for routinely balancing production, shipments, and inventory across multiple manufacturing sites with strong data analytics, problem solving, and team consensus building. Will enable MRP/scheduling optimization, product lifecycle management, and commercial success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare content and help to facilitate Weekly Integrated Tactical Planning Meetings and Monthly Supply Review Meetings for robust S&OP
  • Drive On-Time In-Full (OTIF) and Backorder service improvements via weekly reporting, trend analysis, and focused problem solving with Plant Schedulers and Operations Teams
  • Own Planning and Scheduling Tools and all technical advancements; routinely communicate line balancing of production, shipments, and inventory along with any production adherence or capacity constraints and related action steps
  • Lead month-end inventory reporting and projections; uncover ways to drive working capital optimization while partnering with Inventory, Finance, and Product Management Teams
  • Support product management efforts by coordinating ramp-up and ramp-down inventory plans and leading master data maintenance resolutions
  • Support advanced analytics and develop strategy related to inventory segmentation, lead-time differentiation, dynamic sourcing, and what-if scenario planning
  • Partner with full Surface Solutions business unit to become a premier building solutions provider
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred
  • Experience: 3 years+ previous work experience in Planning/Scheduling or similar supply chain roles
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Must exemplify our cultural behaviors and mindsets - customer-centricity, interconnectedness, & continuous improvement
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications necessary; experience with ERP systems (JDE & Anaplan) is a plus
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously
    • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across all-levels of the organization, including routine executive report-outs
    • Strong problem solving and project management skills; ability to strategically prioritize work, facilitate effective decision making, and drive results
    • Knowledgeable of supply chain and inventory management theory; able to work with big data to extract insights and actions; able to support tool development and advance automation
    • Position is remote but must be willing to travel up to 25% (to domestic manufacturing and office sites)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $95,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
