Ecolab has an opening for a Procurement Manager on its Global Direct Materials Procurement Team with responsibility for selecting suppliers and negotiating over $200 million per year in raw material purchases, specific to the chlor-alkali category. The strong performer will be recognized as a market and procurement strategy SME and will collaborate with regional manufacturing, RDE, quality, planning, logistics, procurement and suppliers to drive total delivered cost savings, security of supply, innovation and process improvements. Main Responsibilities:

  • Drives the execution and strategy for procurement of raw materials through the development of strategic business relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, logistics, research & development and business units, this take-charge leader will lead a step change improvement of world class sourcing in order to deliver incremental total delivered cost, production efficiencies, security of supply, supplier innovation and process improvements.

  • Effectively institutionalize process developments through integrating best practices across multiple functions and strategic sourcing teams.

  • Leverages technical, management, interpersonal skills to achieve through others and manages projects/portfolio to meet business needs.

  • Willing to travel up to 20% - Domestic and International.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7 years of procurement and management experience

  • Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Finance or related field

  • Experience in the chemical/petrochemicals industry

  • Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills

  • Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement

  • Demonstrated skills in clear communication and presentation

  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others
