Position Description


ManTech Technical Services Group established itself as an industry leader in worldwide technology support providing support to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force as well as other key Department of Defense customers and we would like to consider YOU as part of our team.

This position is located in China Lakes, CA.
In dirrect support of PM Assured Mobility Systems (PM-AMS). PM AMS systems include the Interim Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector (IVMMD), the Buffalo mine retrieval system, and the RG-31 medium mine protected system. Employee may be assigned at unit's location as a small technical team or assigned at one of the existing PM AMS Forward Sustainment Centers. Applies institutional knowledge and electromechanical, mechanical, and pneumatic skills acquired through years of direct military support to maintain United States proprietary low-density systems using DC and operations maintenance skills. Diagnoses and corrects electronic circuitry malfunctions. Provides design details and recommends modifications to engineering designs as needed. May prepare instructional guides for repairing, calibrating and maintaining equipment and systems. Performs other, related duties as assigned.

8+ years of experience in related field.

* Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.

* Preferred areas of experience may be with light or heavy duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, ground systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.

* Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.

* Performing simultaneous maintenance, modification and repair projects on a variety of maintenance actions, tasks or repairs.

* Written and verbal communication skills.

Perform on-the-job training (OJT) as needed and requested.
