The American Heart Association, America's leading volunteer health organization in the fight against heart disease and stroke, has an exciting and challenging opportunity based in Columbia, SC (covering Midlands and Upstate SC) for a seasoned manager to:
'lead staff
'manage a team of fundraising and administrative staff
'partner with volunteers to build on corporate relationships
'plan and execute successful revenue-generating events
'implement development plans and policies
'strategically collaborate with other departments

Qualified applicants will have:

'Minimum 5 years experience in corporate relations, fundraising from corporations, sales or business development.
'Experience in supervision of multiple staff.
'Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and working with all levels of individuals.
'Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
'Demonstrated ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment and management.
'Proven track record in meeting sales/fundraising goals.
'Highly effective organization, multi-tasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
'Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment. Local travel required.
